Denise’s recent honors and awards include being named a finalist
in the 2009 American Artist Cover Competition, first in Pastels in
the 34th Annual Phippen Museum Western Art Show, Solon
International 2008, and more. She is an invited artist to the
prestigious Maynard Dixon Country show where she was awarded
Best small Pastel Award and the Milford Zornes Best Work on
paper award in 2003 and 2004.
Denise teaches often at Fredericksburg Artists’ school. Her
works hang along side many well known artists at the Insight
